Canadian Red Cross Manitoba Evacuee Services Registration

n/a

The Canadian Red Cross is currently working alongside Indigenous community leadership and all levels of government to provide registration, reception and information, emergency accommodations, meals, and personal services to thousands of people forced to leave their homes in Manitoba as a result of encroaching wildfires.

People who were evacuated from their community in Manitoba are encouraged to register with the Canadian Red Cross online at www.redcross.ca/2025ManitobaWildfires, or by calling 1-800-863-6582 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time.

Registration with the Red Cross ensures people can be contacted while away from home and can be reached with information on Red Cross services and assistance that may become available to them during this difficult time.

ATC (Artist Trading Card) Club

From 7:00PM to 8:00PM

Join the Tiny Art Revolution!

We welcome all artsy folks aged 14-Infinity to join us in making, sharing, and swapping artist trading cards. QUICK FACTS:

• It's totally FREE! We supply the stuff. You make the art :)

• ATCs can be anything -- draw, paint, collage, scrapbook, write poetry, try some textiles like embroidery or crochet. As long as it fits in a standard trading card sleeve (2.5"x3.5"), the only limit is your imagination!

• Keep your artwork for your personal collection, or swap with other artists in our Club Swap Book (on display at NorVA) to curate your own book of original art.

• We meet every Tuesday night, but you can swap from our Swap Book any time during NorVA's regular hours! We also have a mail-in option for long distance swapping (some of our artists come from as far away as The Netherlands!)
