Even before budgeting, saving, or debt reduction, you need a clear picture of the basics: what income really includes, the different kinds of expenses, what counts as an asset or a liability, and how credit fits into all of this. Nothing fancy; just the stuff most people are never taught.

Bring a pen and paper so you can follow along in whatever way makes sense for you.

The Library will be hosting a Write Your Letter to Santa event on Wednesday, November 12th from 4pm to 6pm. Come to the library to write your letter to Santa while enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate! This is a drop in program for kids of all ages. Letters mailed before December 8th will get a response back!

If you don't make it November 12th, there will be letter writing supplies out at the Thompson Public Library until the cut off date of December 8th.
